Diary of Spatial Design Club

Create a spatial experience that communicates who you are, where you are in your journey, and what you have learned.

This is your final project and your public piece. It is about identity — creating a face that shows who you are and where you are right now. This is your diary entry for the first Spatial Design Club.

Think about what you have learned in this class. Think about the decisions you made and why. Think about the story your space tells when someone steps into it. This is not just a scene — it is a portrait, a reflection, a record of this moment in your creative journey.

Some of you are heading into masters programs. Some of you are looking for jobs. All of you are building something new. This piece is where you show that — where you came from, what you found here, and where you want to go next.

Public Show: "Diary of the First Spatial Design Club" — April 30, 2026. Your piece will be exhibited publicly. Make it something you are proud to share with the world.

Reflections

Think about skills, ideas, ways of seeing, things that surprised you — not just technical knowledge but how you think differently now.
How do you describe yourself? What kind of work excites you? What are you drawn to?
In your projects this semester — why those choices? What drove your creative decisions?
Masters program, job, personal projects, a new direction entirely? Where is the path leading?

Your Space

When someone steps into your scene, what do they encounter? What is the narrative? What should they walk away understanding about you?
What objects, text, textures, or models are you using? What is the mood? How are you thinking about the audience's path through the space?
